Experts in Boutique Family Medicine
Dr Asma Rashid has been living and practicing medicine in the Hamptons for the past 10 years. She is a board certified family physician and attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Miami, FL with completion of her residency right here at Southampton Hospital, NY where she was the chief resident of her class.
She has worked in multiple facets of medicine: primary care, urgent care/walk-in, and hospitals taking care of patients in the ER/ICU/Tele floors etc where she received Patient Excellence Award.
Dr Rashid also enjoys teaching medical students, residents and is an associate professor of medicine at Stony Brook University. She is credentialed both at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and Northwell Peconic Bay Medical Center. This enables Dr Rashid to have the advantage of knowing the local medical facilities capabilities, specialist availability and culture of our unique location.
